Memorials of the Family of Skene of Skene is a historical book compiled by William Forbes Skene in 1887. The book is based on the family papers of the Skene family and contains other illustrative documents that provide a comprehensive overview of the family's history. The Skene family is one of the oldest and most prominent families in Scotland, and the book traces their lineage back to the 14th century. The book covers various aspects of the family's history, including their involvement in politics, military campaigns, and social life. It also provides insights into the family's estates, properties, and genealogy. The book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in Scottish history, genealogy, and the Skene family in particular. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
