"The Firm" wurde von Stephen King erwähnt als Beispiel, wie ein Buch aus einer initialen Idee entsteht und der Plot erst beim Schreiben entwickelt wird. Das Buch eignet sich gut für diesen Anschauungsunterricht (die Idee ist schon auf der ersten Seite erwähnt).
Aber: Neben der Grund-Idee fehlt der Story die überraschenden Twists die Story wirkte an vielen Momenten unglaubwürdig (Mitch hätte relativ einfach ermordet/ertappt werden können).
Ansonsten: gute, solide Story, aber kein Page-Turner.
