The Miscellanies of Edward Fitzgerald is a collection of various writings by the English poet and translator, Edward Fitzgerald. The book includes a range of works, including essays, letters, translations, and original poems. The pieces cover a wide variety of topics, including literature, art, history, and religion. Some of the most notable works in the collection include Fitzgerald's translations of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, as well as his translations of the works of the Persian poets Hafiz and Jami. The book also includes several personal letters and essays that offer insights into Fitzgerald's life and personality. Overall, the Miscellanies of Edward Fitzgerald is a fascinating collection of writings that provides readers with a glimpse into the mind of one of England's most celebrated literary figures. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
