Experience the first three Volumes in one Book!

Bewertungsnummer: 1862149

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

Anne Rice created Interview with a Vampire more than a quarter of a century ago and what followed after that is history. Her novels about the vampires, especially Louis de Pointe du Lac and Lestat Lioncurt, fascinated readers around the world for years. With this volume, the reader has the chance to experience the beginning of it all with the first three books. Interview with the Vampire follows Louis, who was turned into a vampire in 1791. His maker is no other than Lestat, who has very different views about his life as an immortal. Together they live more than a human life time, but every good time eventually comes to an end... The Vampire Lestat is the second book of the Chronicles. This is the Story of Lestat and what happened to him after the events of the first book. Follow his journey from childhood to the modern day. This book is one of my favorites and Lestat is a really charming protagonist. Queen of the Damned is the third volume, the story follows directly after where the second book left of. Lestat wants to be seen by the world and has the plan to become a rockstar. Old and new characters alike are getting involved and even an ancient vampire is about to return. This book is a must read for vampire fans!

Zero stars as it cannot be transferred to the reader

Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a review of the book as I cannot transfer it to my reader. The eBook is listed as an EPUB format but is delivered as an ACSM file. To download the book, you have to install Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). However, even after this, I am unable to copy the eBook to my reader due to digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. Frankly, this situation is quite frustrating. I do not intend to sit at my laptop to read the book. I am very disappointed that there was no notice at the time of purchase indicating that an EPUB download is not available.
