just brilliant. a story of a guy who becomes a victim of his own coldness and apathy. perfect for people who enjoy absurdism, existentialism and unlikeable protagonists (the kind of guy you avoid at parties)

This is my first Camus read, and I honestly really liked it. I liked being put in the perspective of the protagonist, who not many will relate to. The lack of emotion coming from him stunned me, but I feel brought to the story. The characters around him are bothered with regular human notions, but he never feels the need to participate, make a decision, and feel something. He has completely let himself go with the flow. To read from his perspective makes you feel very emotionally detatched from the whole story, even when tragedies struck. But all and all, it's definitely worth a read.
