""Letters of Edward Fitzgerald to Fanny Kemble 1871-1883"" is a collection of personal correspondences between two renowned literary figures. Edward Fitzgerald, a celebrated poet and translator of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, wrote to Fanny Kemble, a renowned British actress and writer, over the course of twelve years. The letters offer a glimpse into the private life of Fitzgerald, as well as his thoughts and opinions on various literary and political topics of the time. The book is edited by William Aldis Wright, a scholar and friend of Fitzgerald, who provides context and commentary on the letters. This book is a valuable resource for those interested in the lives and works of these two influential figures in English literature. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
