Through The Wall is a novel written by Cleveland Moffett. The story revolves around the lives of two families who live in an apartment building in New York City. The first family, the Murrays, are a wealthy couple who live in a luxurious apartment. The second family, the Kellys, live in a small apartment on the other side of the wall. The two families have never met, but they soon become aware of each other's existence when they start hearing strange noises coming from the wall that separates their apartments. The noise turns out to be the sound of the Kellys' daughter, who has a rare disease that causes her to scream uncontrollably. As the Murrays and Kellys become more familiar with each other, they begin to realize that they have more in common than they thought. Both families are struggling with their own problems and are looking for a way to connect with each other.Through The Wall is a heartwarming story about the power of human connection and the importance of reaching out to those who are different from us. It is a story that will make readers laugh, cry, and ultimately feel inspired to reach out to those around them.It was a distressed and sleepless night that Alice passed after the torturing scene of her lover's arrest. She would almost have preferred her haunting dreams to this pitiful reality. What had Lloyd done? Why had this woman come for him? And what would happen now? Again and again, as weariness brought slumber, the sickening fact stirred her to wakefulness--they had taken Kittredge away to prison charged with an abominable crime. And she loved him, she loved him now more than ever, she was absolutely his, as she never would have been if this trouble had not come. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
