""A California Troubadour"" is a biography of Clarence Thomas Urmy, a musician and songwriter who lived in California during the early 1900s. The book explores Urmy's life and career, from his childhood in rural California to his success as a performer in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The author, who is Urmy's grandson, draws on family stories, historical records, and Urmy's own writings to create a vivid portrait of this little-known musician. Along the way, readers learn about the music scene in early 20th century California, as well as the challenges faced by musicians trying to make a living during that time. The book also includes photographs, sheet music, and other memorabilia that help bring Urmy's story to life. Overall, ""A California Troubadour"" is a fascinating look at a talented musician and the era in which he lived. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
