Man merkt, dass George Orwell ("1984") sich durch dieses Buch hat inspirieren lassen. Es gibt viele Gemeinsamkeiten der dystopischen Welt: fast keine persönlichen Freiheiten, ständige Überwachung, Widerstand im Untergrund. Spannende Geschichte, jedoch manchmal schwierig zu verstehen, da in Unterhaltungen Sätze oft nicht fertig gestellt werden und häufig das nicht Gesagte relevant ist. Trotz ziemlich genau 100 Jahre alt, nach wie vor relevant und empfehlenswert.
