GENOME PB The Autobiography of a Species in 23 Chapters

Though slightly outdated on a few points as the last new edition was published 2006, the author succeeds in providing a broad overview of the genetic field, including several important points of its history. I was expecting a rather dry book but was pleasantly surprised as I found myself gripped by the book. Sadly, the author cannot resist the urge to let his own political views flow into this book about the genome, though. The book being slightly outdated and the author letting his personal views flow into it lead me to give it four stars at it is still entertaining.
