Meine letzte Rezension Gulistan von Karosh Taha
Puh, ich muss ehrlich sagen, das Buch hat mich auseinandergenommen, hat versucht, mich umzubringen. Es mag dramatisch klingen, aber ich weiß nicht, wie ich es anders in Worte fassen soll. Allein auf den ersten 10 Seiten fängt man an, die Last von jedem einzelnen Wort zu tragen, den Schmerz zu verspüren. Das ist das erste Mal, dass ich ein Buch in diesem Schreibstil lese bzw. so einen Schreibstil überhaupt sehe, aber trotzdem ist es mir nicht allzu schwergefallen. Als Kurdin will ich noch erwähnen, wie unfassbar stolz und glücklich es mich macht, eine kurdische Autorin auf der Longlist für den Deutschen Buchpreis zu sehen. Vor allem mit so einer wichtigen Literatur.

    OH MY GOD!!! After reading the first book I had high expectations for the second one and I am more than satisfied. The way I laughed through this whole book insane. Hats off to Geissinger for writing the funniest and also the most brilliant dialouges ever. I love Sloanes clap backs everytime Declan says anything, she just loves to drive him insane. I will forever love these two and be reading the remaining books <3.

    Ruthless Creatures

    I will forever suffer after reading this book with the knowledge that Kage is just fiction and I will never meet a man like him. Like HOW is that legal? I want my mens to be as obsessed, as protective, as sexy as this man is. The yearning, the constant suspense and the funny and intelligent dialogues makes this book almost perfect. (almost bcs Geissinger put a standard nad no men ever will be able to reach it).

    RYAN F*CKN SHAY LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!! I am so in love with how such a green flag both of the MC's are. I love how the MC's of the first book are included to the storyline. I just love every sinle thing about this book. If your love language is acts of service you will love Ryan Shay since he has done nothing but prove how much of a green flag he is the whole book long. If your love language is word of affirmation and quality time you will love Indy since she has done nothing but try and give Ryan the best she has and bring him out of his comfort zone. They are just perfect for each other and I am here for it. And this is your perfect summer romance.

    Lights Out

    I was cackling while reading Lights Out. Felt so refreshing to read a dark romcom and I have come to the realization that this genre is what i am digging from now on. Tbh the cat crried the whole book and I enjoyed ever single page where he was mentioned. The suspense was soooo good it always kept me guessing where we were going like??? The twist??

    I dont want to sound unreasonable when I say this but if I had to sell my soul to get into this book and slap both of the MCs I wouldnt think twice. The second book made up for it tho.

    Mile High

    Between Stevie being the perfect MFC and Evan Zanders being the most protective (and hot) MMC I found myself giggling and kicking my feet in the middle of the night. This book went high and beyond my expectations with the perfect amount of Forbidden-Love and Enemies-to-Lovers. What made me feel connected to Stevie was her struggle with her body-image and to Zanders was his daddy-issues. The book felt a little long at times but I definetely will be reading the sequels and you should too!

    4.5 - I listened to the audiobook for this one so please bear with me. - OH MY GOD this was such a wild run and it has been so long since I read a fiction book and actually enjoyed it from start till the end. I really liked the journey with how it jumped from the past to the present so you also figured things out as Natalie did and I must say I didn't see the ending coming. (at least the most of it). Natalie is a character that is written to be insufferable so yes if you didn't like her you got the point. If there was anyone who was more insufferable than Natalie it was definitely the ignorant husband Caleb although as the storyline goes on, you start to understand why he is the way he is. Actually, the only predator in this story was the social and religious norms that were forced onto both of the MC's so you are kinda left blaming those rather than the characters. I really liked how the story turned out to be. You are left feeling sad, shocked and glad at the same time. Natalies inner demons fighting each other but her giving in as the story goes along was so interesting to read, I hope that there will be a movie adaptation! <3

    No cuz same. I am back again with the third book in the series and I have to say I LOVEEDDD Riley so much. As always Geissinger is just a genius with those dialogues, she just gets it and it makes reading dark romance so much more fun. I must say this didnt really feel like dark romance (other than the stalking, kidnapping, threatening and killing people) (ok, I lied) with the humor because it made me laugh so so much. If you are a gurlie who loves her men morally gray and obsessive you will definitely love Malek cuz he is just that. I just wished that there was a little more insight in how Malek started to fall in love with Riley and, after the first half, the story felt a little rushed (which is fine because the ending made up for it.) I definitely recommend you read this series I already started with the fourth and last one!
