When unexpected debris from outer space floats around their peaceful planet, the Clangers explore these strange arrivals with curiosity and wonder. As a peculiar object orbits around their home, the Clangers work together capturing the mysterious gadget with a butterfly net. After investigating, the Clangers discover the strange contraption is a TV set. They fiddle with the collection of buttons, but terribly raucous sounds emerge from it. Far too loud for the Clangers' liking, they launch the TV back into space keeping their home quiet and peaceful.
