Die imperialen Illusionen von Überlegenheit leiten sich nicht zuletzt geschichtlich ab. Diese zu erschüttern und eine in die Zukunft weisende Geschichte zu schreiben, die auf Einheit, Universalismus und Humanismus orientiert - dafür ist die Universalistische Erkenntnis- und Geschichtstheorie unentbehrlich.

Understanding this transient present requires historical thinking that is theoretically and methodologically well-founded. With his universalist theory of knowledge and history, Karam Khella has opened up ways of understanding history beyond Eurocentric historical myths, which in one way or another seek to project imperial white supremacy over peoples, human beings and life in general into history and perpetuate it into the future. Universalist historical thinking allows us to understand a completely different history; it is characterised by a history of resistance of the peoples, a history from below that resists being overwritten. Imperial illusions of superiority are derived not least from history. Universalist epistemology and historical theory are essential for shattering these illusions and writing a history that points to the future, oriented towards unity, universalism and humanism.
