Andrea Kienle, geboren 1972 in Recklinghausen, studierte 1991-1997 Informatik an der Universität Dortmund. Seit 1998 ist sie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin des Fachgebietes Informatik & Gesellschaft am Fachbereich Informatik der Universität Dortmund (Prof. Dr. Thomas Herrmann). In einem interdisziplinären Umfeld treibt sie dort das Thema computergestütztes kollaboratives Lernen voran und verknüpft es mit Aspekten aus der Kommunikationsforschung und dem Wissensmanagement. Im Dezember 2002 wurde sie zum Dr. rer. nat. promoviert.
