Ich habe das Buch in Englisch gelesen und habe es auch gerne gelesen. Es zeigt Christians Seite der Geschichte was manche Fragezeichen im ersten Buch von der Grey Trilogie erklärt. I really enjoyed reading this book.
After watching the movie based on the first book of the FIFTY SHADES trilogy, I was really curious about the reasons behind Christian's behaviour and his choice of 'lifestyle'. Why can't he stand being touched? Why does he enjoy inflicting pain on women? Why does he need to be... After watching the movie based on the first book of the FIFTY SHADES trilogy, I was really curious about the reasons behind Christian's behaviour and his choice of 'lifestyle'. Why can't he stand being touched? Why does he enjoy inflicting pain on women? Why does he need to be in complete control of everything and everyone? That's why I wanted to read the three books in the first place, but after finding out that author E. L. James even wrote the first book from Christian's point of view (POV), I immediately knew that I have to read this version. So I did, and I was fascinated by it! I especially loved James' style of writing, spicing up every situation by adding Christian's thoughts and emotions (he can be really funny, who would have thought?). Including dreams - or rather nightmares - about his past was a brilliant idea, too. That way we all get to know him and his psyche better. By the end of the movie I was like "well, what's wrong with him? Why is he so screwed up? He doesn't deserve Anastasia", but after finishing book one from Christian's POV I thought "oh, poor Christian. Yes, go and win Ana back, you deserve her!" All in all I am most definitely going to recommend this book to everyone who's into Christian's & Anastasia's relationship and story. And quit thinking it's bascially all about sex and that there are no feelings involved, because I felt quite a lot of different emotions reading this book. Anastasica would probably say it was EXTRAORDINARY (WITH SHOUTY CAPITALS) ;D
