All three books in the New York Times-bestselling Shadow and Bone Trilogy are now available together in a beautiful paperback boxed set.

Soldier. Summoner. Saint. Follow Alina Starkov through Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, and Ruin and Rising as she discovers her dormant powers and is swept up in a world of luxury and illusion. As Alina struggles to fit into her new life, a threat to the kingdom of Ravka grows―one that will test old alliances and challenge the very limits of magic, one that will forge a leader from a frightened girl.

Dear SquareFish

it absolutely pains me to give this a one-star review. Why, in Lord Buddha's name, is there a big Netflix logo tarnishing the otherwise beautifully designed covers of every single book? Why, in Lord Buddha's name, is there a big Netflix logo tarnishing the otherwise beautifully designed covers of every single book? I could forgive this nonsense if it were a sticker I could peel off, but--no!--of course the logo is fully integrated. It's also going to be really awkward when Netflix goes belly up in a few years, and this sort of marketing will be considered the company's last, desperate death rattle. I've expected better from SquareFish, but it just goes to show how little some publishers care about their product considering the covers, in this case, were turned into advertisement space. I consider this nothing short of disgraceful!

Welcome to the Grishaverse!

As the once prosperous and influential country Ravka is not only weakened by many years of war with its neighbouring countries Shu Han and Fjerda but also by a king who is more concerned with festivities, shallow ceremonies and lazy comfort than responsible leadership, it is in the hand of the First and Second Army of Ravka to turn around its country's fortune. Second in lead is the so-called Darkling, leader of the powerful Grisha-soldiers who can wield the elements (fire, water, wind etc.) as well as solid materials (metal, glass, chemicals etc.). For this purpose, Grisha are trained from early childhood on how to be master of their powers and how to wield them in favour of Ravka's well-being. However, Alina's dormant talent has been overlooked. When in danger of her life, Alina's power rises to the surface, drawing the Darkling's curiosity on her. Almost instantly, the Darkling recognizes the manifold possibilites Alina's strength holds for Ravka - and his own secret schemes... As I have read books by Leigh Bardugo before, I knew that there are seemingly no boundaries to her imagination. However, the scope of the Grisha universe surpassed all of my expectations. After only a few pages, I was utterly hooked to Alina, her story and the fate of Ravka, which is marvellously inspired by Russian myths and folklore. As the series progresses, we dive deeper and deeper into the thrilling power struggle over Ravka and Alina's special power. Bardugo creates such an extensive fantasy world that one trilolgy is not enough. I cannot wait to read the follwing-up duologies "Six of Crows" and "King of Scars" to meet again some of the main characters of "Shadow and Bone". If you love to get lost in another universe far away from the here and now - be sure to be swept off your feet by the Grishaverse!!

Soo good !!!

When I heard about this book, I was very skeptical about a setting in Russia, but it did not disappoint me at all! I loved this series so much! It has something special and unique to it, I cannot predict the plot(which I love!) And the characters seem to be so real! This series got me out of my reading slump and so I am very ver...
