„Deliciously creepy and captivating“

Sabrina Reiter, Thalia-Buchhandlung Wien, Donauzentrum

After yet another pretty mean cliffhanger, the conclusion of the "Mara Dyer"-trilogy is finally out.

After trying to escape from Horizon at the end of the last book, Mara awakens in a hospital bed. Drugged, unable to use her ability and seemingly more insane than ever she's still stuck in the asylum. With a little unexpected help things start to improve for a moment, though. But what's next? There are still so many questions left unanswered. And where is Noah, by the way?

If possible, the storyline is even darker than in the previous books. It gets more desperate and at times quite confusing, but in the end everything comes together nicely. There's also a lot of character growth going on. While Mara was scared of and confused by her ability before, be it a gift or a curse, she now slowly starts to embrace it and gets stronger as time goes on.

I really love the developments this book has to offer and am very happy with the conclusion of this series.
