Ana María and Gideon

Bewertungsnummer: 2221698

Bewertet: eBook (ePUB)

Every now and then I really enjoy reading historical romances and Ana María and the Fox by @ Liana De La Rosa is such a cute story.   Ana María and her sisters go from Mexico to London to seek refuge from the French occupation of Mexico and I really like how this story touches on this history. Ana María is the oldest Luna sister, and she tries to be perfect in every way. She is also fierce and away from her father she gets a taste of freedom.   Gideon Fox comes from a common family, and he worked his way up to be a politician and bring some change. His focus is to abolish the Atlantic slave trade once and for all and that was very noble and dear to his heart as the grandson of a formerly enslaved woman. He was so swoonworthy and such a gentleman.   Ana María and Gideon come from different worlds, but they work so well together. Gideon offers his hand as protection, and they only fall in love afterwards and I loved following that. Their romance is just so wonderful and enchanting and refreshing in the Victorian romance genre.
