WOODSTOCK CHRONICLES does exactly what the title says. It chronicles the events, the bans and the incidents that made up that momentous August weekend in the summer of ’69. But it does much more than just look at the sixty-something hours during which the Woodstock Festival played out, the three days of peace and love. It traces the history of the bands that performed, how they came to be there, and what effect Woodstock had on their careers.

Richard Havers worked on live music production for artists including The Beach Boys, Chicago and Paul McCartney. He wrote a number of books and produced Bill Wyman’s Blues
Odyssey TV series.

Richard Evans has designed for a variety of artists including The Doors, Pink Floyd,
TheWho, Robert Plant, Van Morrison – plus album covers for a diverse range of musical tastes.
He has worked with The Who since 1976, and recent work includes the cover for Endless Wire, the first new studio album from The Who in 24 years.
